Party Party Party (II)

Friday 24 November
Cambridge
It's that time of year again - the Michaelmas Term is drawing to a swift close, culminating in another gas-fuelled bash on Victoria Road. Obviously you and all your friends, relatives and workmates(?) are welcome to come, eat, drink, be merry, smoke, pass out on our floor and then hang around Cambridge for the rest of the weekend partaking in such worthy Winter pursuits as picnics in the Botanical Gardens, punting in the snow and Knock Down Ginger.

Hopefully this time we will have reviewed and streamlined our production processes, resulting in less chance of culinary domestic explosion and more of inebriated Geologists.

Love &c.

Monday

Hi everyone

It has been a long time since I posted so I thought I would give you all something to read in case you are bored at work on Monday. Sorry to those of you I have seen recently as my news is probably not interesting enough to read twice.

Went to Morrocco at the beginning of October - amazing place but very hectic and not somewhere to go for a relaxing break. Did come home with a Morroccan tea pot though, and miraculously that was about it. In fact it was such a hard seel out there that I found ti very difficult to buy anything. We did get conned by a couple of snake charmers but apart from that it was avery cheap stay. We went to Marrakesh, Fez and Rabat. I have to say Rabat was my favourite as it was the least crazy and had a beach and a kasbah (needless to say we spent the whole few days in Rabat siniging Rock the Kasbah). Also want to a football game in Rabat, not quite the standard of the English Leagues I don't think but lots of fun as they were so surprised to see a couple of Europeans there. Also I was the only girl and I think they thought it hilarious that I was there. Spoke a fair amount of French as well, pretty rusty but I got by with it so felt very virtuous.

Also going to see Reading vs. Everton on Christmas Eve so it turns out I'm suddenly interested in football. Very wierd.

My other big news is that I'm buying ahouse. Completely ridiculous, my stepsister has just bought one so last time I saw here we were discussing mortgage rates. Serioiusly how old are we?

Went to Brighton this weekend which was fun, i've only been once before and that was for Gay Pride so it was cool to go out in the city this time although getting back to London on Sunday was a bit of a mission.

Running a half marathon next weekend so won't make it to Cambridge but have fun.

Lot of love,

What is going on this weekend?
